About the
Facilitator: Poet, translator, biographer and former Man Booker International, Judge - George Szirtes was born in 1948 in Budapest, and came to England following the Hungarian Uprising in 1956. His many awards include: the Faber, T S Eliot and International Man Booker Translators' Prize (twice).

About Wednesday WORD!s
Wednesday WORD!s is a weekly online workshop, open to all and running every Wednesday, 10.30-12pm. Curated by Creative Director, Lydia Towsey, sessions are facilitated in collaboration with a range of regular and/or guest writers and aim to support the health, wellbeing, community, artistic and holistic development of participating writers.
Previous and current guests have included: John Hegley, Rob Gee, Mellow Baku, Hannah Lowe, Panya Banjoko, George Szirtes, Marvin Thompson, Rishi Dastidar and Leo Boix, amongst other facilitating artists.
